ROOM 666 (LITTLE DEVIL)1

Potato and Potito were heading to the hospital on their brand new motorcycle/sidecar, freshly painted with

Homer Simpson graffiti, ready to visit all those children! As soon as we arrived at the hospital, the first

thing we did at the reception was introduce ourselves and briefly explain what our project was, and

immediately all doors were opened for us to act freely.

They were very kind to us. Those stories about hospitals and their workers being cold aren't real. They're real

people like you and me with families like ours…

-Potato***Hi friends, we wanted to introduce ourselves. We're Potato and Potito, two childhood friends who

are news reporters of all kinds, and we've been together for 42 years…

I'm Potato, the more serious and sensible of the two. I'm 62 years old. My partner and friend, Potito, is the

older of the two and the friendliest, but a bit mischievous. He's 74 years old, but he's like a 12-year-old boy,

funny and playful...

We're visiting hospitals to try to get their directors to attend to all the needs of their young long-term

patients.

-Potito***They were very kind, as it couldn't be otherwise. With the sad expressions I gave them, it was

impossible to refuse such an action!

...As the good reporters that we are, we've been conducting thousands of surveys among all the children

who are here, whether for short or long stays, to find out all the needs and desires that could make their

stay here much more comfortable and happy...

In this story, we're going to tell you about one of the great ideas these kids have proposed to be as

comfortable as possible in those cold rooms during their stay, and at the same time, to make it useful for

whoever is responsible for carrying it out.

On one of our visits, we met Albert (just another child among

many who reside here, but as special as you). He's 9 years old and has been in room 666 for 3 years now, which

is why we've affectionately nicknamed him "little devil."

Little devil is a very active child, which means that such a long stay in a hospital room can turn into a hell

of a bore. That's when he came up with the idea of being able to communicate with people in other rooms

without having to get out of bed, because, as he told us, not everyone can get out of bed, and some can't even

move!

-Potato***...That's when the light bulb went off for Potito and me, well, me more than him, hahaha...

-Potito***Hey, your face, chard, I'd thought that too, I just didn't want to take the idea away from you!

-Potato***Yeah, sure, sure, that's what I meant, Potito, ahem, ahem!

So we decided to wander around the entire hospital, room by room, cafeteria, restrooms, even outside on the

street, where the taxi stand is, where all the visitors come...

So we decided to wander around the entire hospital, room by room, cafeteria, restrooms, even outside on the

street, where the taxi stand is, where all the visitors come...

We even crossed the street to a high school across the street. All of this was to collect enough signatures

on the proposal to send it to the hospital director. If necessary, and they didn't want to hear the proposal,

we would go to Congress and the Senate to petition them, because our children come first...

Potito and I were very happy. We had only been collecting signatures for a few hours, and we had already

collected 752.
